“[Zac] contacted me regarding my truck and proposed towing it out for a fee ranging from 3k to 5k [dollars],” Frey posted on Facebook. “I responded with confusion. I indicated I would prefer to leave it there rather than pay such a sum for someone else to take it out. My intent was never to abandon it up there. That was never, ever my goal. This is why my logos, phone number, license plates, and VIN remained on the vehicle. I never, ever aimed to leave my truck in that spot. The plan has always been to retrieve it.”
