Some of you may recall that The Drive has collaborated with Blipshift historically (dating back to the Matt Farah, Chris Harris, and Mike Spinelli era on YouTube). We’ve re-established contact with them and have reintroduced our official store within Blipshift’s creative universe.
Blipshift operates by allowing anyone to submit designs (the most successful ones usually balance “inside joke” with “still appealing without context”), then the company selects top submissions and prints them on apparel and posters in limited quantities. Once they’re sold out, they’re gone for good—unless a special collaboration like this occurs to resurrect the finest of the lot!
We’re reviving popular, out-of-production designs that would otherwise remain inaccessible. We’re doing this for the community. We’re doing it because it’s enjoyable. And perhaps partly because we need to replace some of our team’s favorite shirts that are now stained with oil.
This initial release has been curated by our staff, and we’ve got more exciting selections on the way, but we’re also open to suggestions! Each merch release will feature five designs available for purchase in our store for a two-week span, beginning from Monday, 3/16 to Sunday, 3/29. To maintain the momentum, we aim to sequentially launch the drops, so another will be available immediately after this one concludes. Expect new batches every Monday over the coming weeks, but remember, each set of designs is only available for a limited duration. So if you spot something you like, get it before it’s gone!
One downside we need to mention is that, while it’s crucial to place your order quickly, these items won’t arrive at your door in two days like an Amazon purchase. Blipshift requires a complete tally of how many of each design to produce before printing them. Therefore, there is a slight delay for gratification on your side—your patience is appreciated.
