The RTR collection of modified Ford vehicles created by master drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr has grown over time. Modifications are now also available for off-road models like the Bronco.
Dubbed the Bronco RTR, this modification kit began with a price of $18,185 for 2025 (2026 prices are yet to be determined, but 2026 Broncos are available, and we’re on New Year’s Eve) and primarily serves as a design refresh. The performance enhancements are somewhat limited and differ depending on the Bronco model in question. However, as our associate Jeff Glucker from Motor1 discovered, the prioritization of detail may not be foremost.
Glucker has a Bronco RTR for evaluation during the holiday season. The tested vehicle includes the $1,999.99 RTR Leather Interior upgrade, which reportedly adds two-tone full-grain leather seating in the front and rear, with the RTR logo embossed on the front seats. The individual who upholstered the Bronco’s interior in leather for Glucker unfortunately covered up the rear-seat fold-down armrest’s cup holders. Oops!
This situation is nearly “you can’t make this up” territory; if there wasn’t an Instagram reel to verify, one might question if such an error was possible. Glucker, always the consummate professional, provided proof.
Gittin Jr actually responded to the post, stating, “I love that you enjoyed the RTR ROVR! Your presentation of this issue had me in stitches. I totally agree with you… CRAZY! Clearly, someone overlooked the step of putting the cup holders back in. Many thanks for bringing this to our attention, ensuring it won’t happen again during the build process!”
This is evidently not what one could call “to spec” or intentional given Gittin Jr’s remarks. It remains uncertain whether any Bronco RTRs have reached customers with this flaw or if this is an isolated case.
Regardless, it appears Gittin Jr is managing the matter well, keeping the mood light and able to chuckle about it, and is presumably committed to ensuring that no further Bronco RTRs experience this issue moving forward.
