There truly is an array of absolutely scrumptious food at Disney World! As a culinary enthusiast, these are my top picks from all the parks.
In This Post: Top Foods At Disney World
May I Speak Freely?
We have just returned from a Disney adventure, and the culinary offerings at Disney have sparked endless chatter among my friends who are either just back from Disney or eagerly anticipating their forthcoming visits.
Disney aficionados (those who have an immense love for Disney) will assure you that the food at Disney World is delicious.
With all due respect, how can we take their word for it? How can we ascertain that their affection for this enchanting place isn’t clouding their judgment?
I hold a fondness for Disney World, yet I prioritize my identity as a foodie over being a Disney fanatic, which grants me a (self-proclaimed) impartial view on the matter and the credibility to compose this post!
Indeed, there are numerous overpriced and underwhelming Mickey pretzels and Dole whip kiosks. I stand by that statement.
But even for discerning eaters like us, some dishes at Disney are genuinely quite tasty.
A visit to Disney may not be the most gourmet experience imaginable, but I assure you there are some hidden treasures. Let’s discover those delightful morsels together! I’m thrilled for all of us.
Wishing you an amazing trip! (And if you have a favorite to contribute, please drop it in the comments!)
Top Foods At Magic Kingdom
This Cronut
Available at Joffrey’s in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.
I initially thought it might be a gimmick, but this was the real deal. 10 stars. Sampling this cronut (the delightful fusion of a croissant and a donut) could very well be one of my most cherished food moments at Disney. It was rich and substantial, yet also flaky and layered simultaneously. (And I must mention that every coffee and pastry I enjoyed at Joffrey’s on every visit has consistently been top-notch. The donuts, the scones—everything.)
Cheeseburger Egg Rolls
Available at the Egg Roll Wagon in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.
I must confess, these cheeseburger egg rolls were extraordinary. So much so that we ordered a second serving immediately after finishing the first one. The dipping sauce was so delightful that I felt compelled to return to the little stand to express my appreciation like a true food enthusiast.
Top Foods At Animal Kingdom
These Amazing Churros
Available at the bar in Nomad Lounge at Tiffins restaurant in Animal Kingdom.
These churros with dipping sauce are absolutely top-tier. They are hot, crispy, and slightly chewy on the inside, served with a rotating selection of dipping sauces. Plus, they’re gluten-free! This was among my favorite dishes I enjoyed throughout WDW.
Chimichurri Beef and Grilled Wood Fired Chicken Bowls
Located at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora at Animal Kingdom.
This is a customizable menu and it’s fantastic. We ordered the combo bowl with beef and chicken, along with rice and black beans, topped with creamy herb dressing. The popping boba is a bit odd and unnecessary, but this is Disney, so I’m willing to overlook it. This was one of the best “actual meals” I enjoyed at Disney!
Top Foods At Hollywood Studios
Brisket Grilled Cheese
Available at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
Wow. This brisket grilled cheese sandwich is loaded with meat, oozing cheese, and grilled to perfection. Dipped in the accompanying tomato soup while standing beside Slinky Dog… total five stars.
Glazed Almonds
Available at all parks.
You can find cinnamon sugar almonds at every park, and honestly, you shouldn’t skip them. The hotter they are, the crunchier they become—simply delightful. Be sure to grab them, especially if you find yourself there on a rainy day. They not only smell delicious but taste divine, creating the most delightful experience.
Top Foods At EPCOT
Rice Bowls, Tostadas, and Margaritas.
Available at Choza de Margarita or La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico at EPCOT.
For me, Mexico in EPCOT steals the show. My top recommendations: cucumber margarita, tostada de pollo, and a chicken rice bowl topped with cotija, pickled onions, and a side of tomatillo salsa. Just reminiscing about it makes me hungry.
Beef Brisket Sandwich
Available at the Regal Eagle in the America section of the World Showcase at EPCOT.
I wouldn’t describe myself as a meat enthusiast, but this brisket sandwich, paired with onion rings, was surprisingly delightful. There are various sauces to pick from, and I highly recommend adding a side of macaroni and cheese to it all.
Bonus Favorite!
Bomboloni
Available at Le Petit Cafe in the Riviera Resort.
During every trip to Disney, we’ve stayed at a property connected by the Skyliner and frequently find ourselves at the Riviera resort for breakfast. This delightful little bomboloni, a Nutella-stuffed donut, from their café has been nothing short of perfect in every way.
Foods You Can Pass On
at Norway in EPCOT
It has a cult following, but I wouldn’t mind skipping it. It’s dense and bready, just not my cup of tea.
available throughout Disney
Controversial take, but I find it overrated. It’s not my personal favorite. If you decide to have it, go for the classic pineapple option.
Foods Still On My Must-try List
at Woody’s Lunchbox in Hollywood
My good friends have sworn by it. A delicious pastry with a lovely filling—it’s definitely on my list for the next trip!
at Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood
It looks fantastic and is rumored to be a favorite among fans. I can’t wait to try it!
