There’s actually some really tasty food at Disney World! As someone who loves food, here are my top picks from all the various parks.

In This Post: Top Foods At Disney World

Can I Speak Openly?

We just returned from a Disney getaway, and the culinary offerings at Disney have been a popular subject among my friends who are either just back from Disney or are soon heading there.

Disney enthusiasts (you know, those who truly adore Disney) will insist that the food at Disney World is scrumptious.

Kudos to them, but can we really trust their opinions? How do we know they aren’t clouded by their affection for the most enchanting place on earth?

I have a fondness for Disney World, but I definitely prioritize food over Disney, giving me a (self-appointed) impartial viewpoint on this matter and the credibility to pen this article!

Sure, there are a lot of overpriced and disappointing Mickey pretzels and Dole whip stalls. I said it.

Nonetheless, even us food aficionados have to admit that some of the fare at Disney is genuinely quite delectable.

A trip to Disney might not be your most gourmet culinary journey ever, but I assure you there are hidden treasures. Let’s discover some truly delicious bites! I’m thrilled about this for all of us.

Enjoy your trip! (And if you’ve got a favorite to share, feel free to comment below!)

Top Foods At Magic Kingdom

The Cronut

Available at Joffrey’s in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom.

I anticipated it would be just a gimmick, but this was something exceptional. 10 stars. Indulging in this cronut (a delightful fusion of croissant and donut) was possibly one of the best food experiences I had at Disney. It was both substantial and rich, yet also delicately flaky and layered. (And every coffee and pastry I’ve enjoyed at Joffrey’s during my visits has been outstanding—donuts, scones, the whole range.)

Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

Available at Egg Roll Wagon in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.

I can’t help it; these cheeseburger egg rolls were fantastic. So fantastic that we promptly ordered a second round after finishing the first. The accompanying sauce was so delightful that I literally went back to the stand to express my appreciation like a true food enthusiast.

Top Foods At Animal Kingdom

Incredible Churros

Available at the bar in Nomad Lounge at Tiffins restaurant at Animal Kingdom.

These churros served with dipping sauce are undoubtedly among my top picks. Warm, crunchy, and slightly chewy within, accompanied by a rotating selection of dipping sauces. Plus, they are gluten-free! This was one of the standout dishes I enjoyed throughout WDW.

Chimichurri Beef and Wood-Fired Chicken Bowls

Available at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora at Animal Kingdom.

This is a customizable menu that’s quite enjoyable. We selected the combo bowl featuring beef and chicken, served with rice and black beans, topped with creamy herb dressing. The popping bubbles were a bit odd and maybe unnecessary, but hey, it’s Disney, so I’ll let it slide. This was one of the finest “real meals” I had at Disney!

Top Foods At Hollywood Studios

Brisket Grilled Cheese

Available at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.

This brisket grilled cheese sandwich is phenomenal—meaty, cheesy, and flawlessly toasted. Enjoyed with the nearby tomato soup while waiting for Slinky Dog… 5 stars.

Glazed Almonds

Available at all parks.

You can find cinnamon sugar almonds at all parks, and honestly, you should treat yourself. The hotter they are, the crisper they get, making them even better. Make sure to grab some if it’s a rainy day. They smell wonderful, taste divine—it’s simply a delightful experience.

Top Foods At EPCOT

Rice Bowls, Tostadas, and Margaritas

Available at Choza de Margarita or La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico at EPCOT.

Mexico at EPCOT is the real deal. My top picks: cucumber margarita, tostada de pollo, and a chicken rice bowl with cotija, pickled onions, and a small side of tomatillo salsa. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

Beef Brisket Sandwich

Available at the Regal Eagle in the America section of the World Showcase at EPCOT.

I’m not particularly a meat enthusiast, but this brisket sandwich, paired with a side of onion rings, was truly tasty. There are numerous sauces to select from, and consider adding a side of mac and cheese to complete the meal.

Bonus Favorite!

Bomboloni

Available at Le Petit Cafe in the Riviera Resort.

Every time we’ve visited Disney, we’ve stayed at the Skyliner and typically made our way to the Riviera resort for breakfast. This little bomboloni, a donut filled with Nutella, from their café was nearly perfect in every way.

Foods You Can Pass On

School Bread

at Norway in EPCOT
It’s a cult classic, but I wouldn’t mind skipping it. It’s heavy and doughy and just not my top choice.

Dole Whip

available throughout Disney
This might be a hot take, but I feel it’s over-rated. It’s just not for me. If you insist on getting it, opt for the classic pineapple version.

Foods Still On My Must-Try List

Lunchbox Tart

Woody’s Lunchbox at Hollywood
My close friends rave about it. Pastry crust, scrumptious filling, and all that goodness. I can’t wait to try it on our next visit!

Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie

Trolley Car Cafe at Hollywood
It looks rich and delicious and has a reputation as a fan-favorite. I need to give it a taste!
